Air in shower

Recommended Posts

I’m not sure where to post this so I hope someone can help me out here.
My shower started getting air bubbles in it so there’s almost no pressure.
I traced the hot and cold hoses back to where the come off the motor and I can see air bubbles coming out at the connections.
 Now it’s stopped working altogether.
Does anyone have an idea why there would be air in the system?

Im no shower expert but when I got air in water lines pre pump i use a hose to pour water over each joint while running to see if air bubbles go away.

It’s sucking in air somewhere when running

Maybe one of the hoses has a split and letting in air.

its hard to do but if you can submerge the hoses one by one and the air stops it’s that hose.  It’s sucking air in prior to the pump.  Could be pump fitting too.
