looking for first boat

Family is saying its time for us to get a boat.  So after looking everything over the different manufacturers we have settled on the 22 lsv, but we are stuck on 3 different ones.  First is a '19 demo w/m5di for $99,662 MSRP of $145,050, the second is a '20 w/Monsoon 6.2 for $112,515 MSRP of $146,365, the last is a used '19 w/m6di.  My first question is the M5DI enough engine for wakeboarding at roughly 1,300ft above sealevel, boat does have a 2249 prop?  We wakeboard with friends but never surfed, and I am guessing we will probably migrate to surfing.  Finally how are the prices?  I know with everything going on right now with the economy there are deals to be had, and I have seen some dealers offering up to 40% off of '19s but they will not sell outside their territory.

First, congrats on narrowing down what you are looking for.

Personally,  i would opt for the m6, as nobody has ever said, this boat has too much power. The m5 would not be bad, but given the 3 listed, i would probably lean towards an m6, in whichever color scheme you prefer.

Most important, go try them. Put them through their paces, have fun, see if the difference is meaningful to you, since that is what really matters.

Thanks asnowman.  I have to agree the M6DI is a HUGE selling point on the used boat.  For 2020 did the 22 LSV get the 2:1 transmission?

Md6 has enough power, that I’m running the standard prop at 3500 ft with 3500 lbs of  ballast.

I don't know which transmission is in the 2020 22lsv
