2013 WakeSetter VLX: Radio Will Not Turn On,

So the screen on the stereo remote (RFX-MR5BB) has never worked but I could still use the power button and the mode button to change modes from stereo to aux ect on the top screen.  I now have no control and the boat will only stay in stereo mode. My phone will still connect to bluetooth but no sound and no power to the stereo.  I just replaced the remote shown in the top picture and no change. Not sure where to troubleshoot next.

Are you still having this?  If no, what fixed it?

 

I had similar issues last fall but no real advice.    Stereo power would randomly cycle, mode would randomly cycle, and bluetooth works some days and not others.  Turned the master power off and let it sit over the winter.  Now power and mode are good.  Bluetooth is still random but I don't think that comes from the stereo.  I think that comes from the computer/touch screen on the right.

Considering a full replacement of the stereo controls but would love a cheaper option.  I think I have the same Rockford in my '13 VLX
