2007 Vride - Upgrade Stereo System

We have a 2007 VRIDE and looking to upgrade they current system in our boat as some items are currently not working. Currently we have a sony head-end unit with two wired remotes remotes, rockford fosgate P450.4 punch amplifier, (4)interior rockford fosgate punch (P162C) speakers and  (2) Titan Cans with Maxxsonics DCG 116. Items not working include (1) speaker, (1) can and sony head end unit has trouble picking up the aux (phones)

I would like to add a sub and amp to run the sub. What options do I have that won't break the bank but still repair the system. We typically wakeboard and chill. I am planning on adding a second battery to the system. Since we have some time on our hands I would like to do this sooner than later to enjoy the summer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIA

I would start by diagnosing the in-boat and tower speakers. If you are plugging direct into the heads AUX and have tried a different cable, then the issue is likely internal. If you plugging into a remote jack, could be that jack or a cable between the head and jack. This way, you know whether you are dealing with an amp issue, wiring issue or speaker issue. After knowing what needs to be replaced, you can then decide out of whats left, whats not going to fit the build going forward.
