Making brass and AL wedge shiny again

I wire wheeled mine once and it was shiny again, but that's mostly because I already had it off doing some exhaust work.  I wouldn't do it again because it dulls up pretty quickly.  There was a guy that took his to a shop and had it polished, it looked really good.

If you want your polish job to last, get it looking how you want it and then have it hard anodized.  Rather than polish it, I'd probably bead blast it for a satin finish.  Much less work.
