For 2020, the SP2.2 sound backs comes with 6 in boat, 2 icon 8, and a 10" free air. 1 HTX6 and  1 HTX2 amp.

Does anyone know how the config works here?

HTX6 for all the speakers?

HTX2 for tower and sub?

Im trying to see how much power is going to the free air sub from the factory. Wondering is if twould sound any different in a sealed back mounted to the fiberglass.... could be pretty simple

From wetsound for the free air model:

Box SpecsOptimized for Infinite Baffle (Free Air) applications or 1.3 cu ft sealed enclosure

Here is how my 18 T23 was setup.

HX6: Ch 1/2 = bow speakers.  Ch 3/4 = all 4 cabin speakers (they are wired parallel up in the main gunwale harness).  Ch 5/6 = bridged to sub

HX2: Ch 1/2 = all 4 tower speakers (they were wired parallel right at the speakers)

I am 99% sure thats how mine was.  If there is any difference, it would be that the tower and sub channels were swapped.  Meaning, tower on HX6 Ch 5/6 and sub on HX2 Ch 1/2.   But i dont think thats how it was.

Its pretty easy to figure out what runs what.  Crank up some tunes and unplug the output of the HX2.
