And even using the same "pump" across from each other, it's pretty easy to be 6' apart without trying. 

Things like this seem to be done on purpose.

Funny, I ve been using my motorcycles for all the errands lately.  Even my fz1 can carry 3 bags of groceries. 

Michigans lock down does seem pretty extreme compared to its neighbors, but the body count in detroit seems really high too.

It’s only Detroit though. And most of us our frustrated because why can’t I take my family out for a boat ride but I can get on my motorcycle for a joy ride. Both use fuel right? One could argue one is way more dangerous than the other. Why can I go buy a lotto ticket but I can’t buy flowers, etc. It is just I consistent and not well thought out in my opinion. But whatever. It is what it is.

How I’ve been feeling lately. Weather here is still a little cold to be on/in the water. But perfect time of year to hit the course and get away for a few hours.

Hi DWC032,

Thanks for posting this. I had also read about this. I want to be optimistic about this, but, Oregon's governor has closed all state parks thru Sept. 30th. So, I hope she does not influence the other two governor's. Just give us a date governors..............

We have my annual trip to Trinity, we rent a cabin and spend a week on the lake. Hopefully everything is back up and running by end of July.

Still 100 inches of snow at one of our lakes and it’s frozen over and the other lake is closed. But we will be out there before we know it.

This kind of thinking is one the problems we have.  Us as citizens accepting "it is what it is" is us laying down and allowing our rights to be stripped from us is completely opposite of the intent behind our form of governance.  It's difficult to have this discussion here due to the inability to discuss politics, but what's happening in our state is completely absurd and not warranted, IMHO.

I don't disagree with you. However I don't exactly have time in my life to go protest. I am all for supporting movements to get some things amended. What I am seeing though is going too far from that side as well. Both sides push too far. I hate how you can't be "in the middle", have to be an extreme to gain support.

well, that launch ramp/dock I used on Saturday in OH (drove from MI) is now getting pulled as I type.  I guess the mayor is closing/pulling all docks in Toledo to make a point.  Well I hope they powerwash that bad boy while it's out from all the bird turd, meanwhile I will have my wife hold the boat while I park.

Ok boys and girls, I just sent this info to Governor DeWine's office and asked Him not to follow the procedure of the Michigan nut job (governor).  I also (politely)asked his office to touch base with Mayors in the state and keep our publicly funded waterways and parks open.  This crap is going to start getting real.  I encourage all to contact their state and federal congressman, senators and the White House via email.  As far as I am concerned, no high elected official should collect a wage until economy is at full force.  These people work for us!  Let us show them that!

When we do get the boat in we will be strictly family only.  That's my wife and I with zero exceptions for us.  Which brings me to my newest challenge. 

She's really new to driving boats let alone with riders.  Last year she started driving for surfers when an experienced driver + spotters were there.  She's getting better and gaining confidence.   We're legal to run a driver+rider as long as we have a mirror.  Something I've only done with my dad when the lake is not busy.  Starting to jones about taking a ski in a few weeks but......  Different proposition for her to driver solo with a mirror only.  Hoping we can ease into into it with some riderless training runs.
