Tow ball not retractable 19 VLX

So I’m a bit disappointed with the tow ball. It doesn’t have the lift turn and drop function that allows to be flush with the engine cover.  When purchased I didn’t think much of it until I hit my knee on it about 5 times. Anyone know if there a swap to install a retractable ball.  Malibu definitely cheaped out on this one. Thanks

It appears that it drops down? Is yours stuck up?

Thanks for this. I got into boat trader and looked at many other 19s.  My dealer is the only one that stocks non retractable ball. It’s pretty much the Axis ball. Check it out : https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2019-malibu-21-vlx-7078692/
