1998 Malibu Corvette

Looking into a 1998 Corvette Edition. What is a fair price for these? Have not seen many for sale. Is there still a market for these? This one has 300 hours.

A "fair" price for these is a tough question.  It depends what the owner is looking to get for it, and what it's worth to YOU.  Malibu only made 125 of these with the Callaway Engine for 1997 into 1998.  Over the years these have sold (when they come on the market) for lows of $15-18K (rough shape) to around $22-25K for decent shape.  I have seen one that went for 30K, and last year, a fully restored one (#82/125- in polo green), asking price was 45K (looked showroom condition from the pics), and it was sold, for how much, I don't know.  The price in 1997 for these were 45K new, and were not discounted.  FWIW, I paid 25K for mine i(#78/125-polo green) in 2007 in nice shape with around 300 hrs...

@malibunate - The rarity of a limited edition model will make valuating it more of an individual agreement between you and the seller as noted.  Boat is certainly unique so if that is what you are after there will be some value in that.  You can look at prices through Only Inboards, Ski-it-again, boat trader, etc.  A key to ski boat pricing tends to be # of hours.  300 is not many for a ski boat.  Happy shopping & good luck.

hard to say without seeing it - i would say at least 20k.   Maintenance records adds a lot in my opinion

If this is the one on OnlyInboards in Florida, looks like a sweet boat... I'd offer 25K for that, (but I'm biased toward these boats)
