Anyone heard from Gabe lately?

Last spring I contacted Gabe to sew up 3 skins for my boat.  I sent him pix and HIN and he replied with a cost and estimated time.  A couple months later, around the estimated time, I got an email from him saying that one of his sewers had left, so he was backlogged.  He asked if I wanted to stay on the backlog, that it would probably be in the fall, and I said yes, just let me know.  I've sent email a few weeks ago and still have not heard from him.  Has anyone else heard from him lately?  I chose him because of all the good things I've heard about his work and being able to match the material exactly.

Interested to know this too, as I have a seat skin that needs replaced.

If you are willing to ship, there is a great upholsterer in Colorado that has worked on my boat, and is recommended by all the local dealers (in addition to the Porsche club). 
 

I can send his info if you want it.

Is he able to match the vinyl?  I just need the 3 back seat skins, and I can re-skin.

On my boat he got the skins directly from Malibu.
