Unfortunately I can’t get another pic since I sold that boat last August and picked up another one in September that has different amps.  Hopefully someone else on here can take a pic for you or tell you what it is.

Are you making these to sell? I’d be interested. 👍🏼

Hello everyone,

I am adapting a SYN DX2 to an older boat. I found the female adapter on digikey for the 8 pin inputs port. I am looking for the female adapter part number for digikey for the outputs side shown below.

That sure looks like a Molex MX150 Series connector.  I assume since the housing is black in the photos above that it is Keying Option "A", so the mating part number is 33472-4001.

Add a sub harness to keep stock cabin amp, speakers, and sub, while adding another subwoofer. Sub RCA’s and remote out. Goes in between the stock cabin/sub harness and amp.

Those look great!

how did you solder the bare wire to the harness? I pin them then solder the pins onto the harness.

Same. Then heat shrink each pin.

So I bought this from Exile but I’m confused on what plugs into where. Do I just unplug the factory amp plug for the existing subwoofer from the 6 channel amp and then plug one end into it and the other back into its location I assume?

Yes! Then RCAs out into sub amp!

Hey everyone - long-time lurker, first-time poster.  I have a Malibu OEM Wetsounds SYN-DX4:

I've added this amp to my older 2001 23LSV to drive my new Exile tower speakers.  However, I wasn't planning on the OEM harness inputs and outs.  Thanks to this site, I believe I've found both female connectors and terminals:

#1 Connector:  https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-deutsch-connectors/776273-5/5428569 -- This is the Female connector for the left harness plug.  I believe this is for the inputs (signal from deck)?

#2 Terminal:  https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/770854-1/2054401?s=N4IgTCBcDaIIIEYAMA2AzAdiQWgHIBEQBdAXyA -- These are the female terminals for the connector above.

#3 Connector:  https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/molex/0194180001/3044510 -- I believe this is the female connector for the right harness plug, which I believe is the output side, to the speakers.

#4 Termial:  https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/molex/0194200004/2404790 -- I believe these are the female terminals for the connector above.

Am I on the right track here?  If I connect the RCA cable wires to the #2 terminals and into the #1 connector (with solder, heat shrink, etc) that should work for the input side, correct?  And connect the speaker wire to #4 Terminal and into the correct connector slots, that will work for the output?  Any correction here would be greatly appreciated!  Also, has anyone bridged these connectors?

Reaching out and hoping for some helping hands!

Is there a better place or newer thread to ask this question?

Semi correct semi incorrect.

Female rca connector - 776273-1
Pins for rca connections - 770854-1

Female speaker wire plug - 19419-0002

Female speaker wire pins - 19420-0009

Perfect!  Thanks for the correction - parts are on their way!  Has anyone had any experience bridging the output connections?  I assume it’s possible, and maybe doesn’t matter which 2 you bridge together?
