FAE - Muffler Delete

Sorry, I know there has been a fair amount of info posted about this but I'm about to pull the trigger this morning and wanted some last minute assurance.  I def want to do the muffler delete, but I'm debating spending the $250 that FAE wants or DIY.  FAE is telling me they build a new muffler, but in the pics they sent me it looks to me like it's just some stainless bends and rubber connectors.  I don't see where a muffler could be in that setup, looks like straight shooting from the CAT's out.  Any advice would be appreciated!

I’d do the muffler delete and their parts to accomplish this,  heard a few tales of decreased fuel efficiency and small power loss from having muffler snd fae,

the maintenance access improvement alone if you do your own work makes it worthwhile

I have the muffler delete.  Was under $200.  Just pie cut welded pieces, unpainted.  Reused the stock rubber connectors.  You gain a bunch of space and a little power back doing it.  Wish I had done it from day one of installing my FAE.

From the quality of equipment that I have received from them I would do it yourself.
The principle of his FAE is great but unless they have hired new welders I would find other means.

There are some posts on wake garage of people just using mandrel 90's and the stock rubber boots to do the muffler delete.
