M5di impeller part number?

Good luck finding it online.  Everyone I know has had to go through the dealer.

Sherwood 15000A

I heard the change from the part number used for years was due to the pump being on top now     .  It seems plausible

I haven't found it anywhere else yet... I think I may buy one from the dealer and start doing my Where's Waldo act with the information from the sales ticket. I would not be surprised to find out that it is going to be a proprietary Malibu part because it is a "Malibu engine". Just like the G3 struts are. BICBW Hopefully it will be like the oil filter, same filter different boxes from different manufacturers.

Is it possible to buy them from some where other than a dealer yet?

When you asked in the maintenance forum, @hethj7 answered that it is a Sherwood pump.  He said the part number is 15000A, but 15000K probably makes more sense.  Check your impeller to see if it is 2-9'16" X 2" with 12 blades.

Or maybe just look on the pump and find the model number, then look it up.

I have found the "K" PN's. Guess I will have to pull the plate and scrape off the paint to confirm both.

Just measure the impeller.  The pump brands all have cross references that include size information.  I'm still going with "K" since nearly every impeller on this list has a "K".  Aside from size and drive key, an impeller is an impeller.

I think why you don’t see the A is because I don’t know of anyone that can find them aftermarket. I am not saying the A and K aren’t potentially the same, but the A is the correct part number as best I know.   The best bet right now seems to be to order from your dealer.

Thru-Key Design Impellers (8000K, 10077K, 09000K, 09959K, 10615K, 15000K, 17000K*) *17000A standard impeller in 17000K is threaded/thru-key design.

So the 17000K will replace the 17000A

So this means the 15000K will replace the 15000A as well i believe.
