Hey All,

I am researching boat wakes, and I am curious.  What make and model boat do you use, what propeller, and what is your favorite RPM and surfing speed?  Thanks for your help!

2020 A22 with extra ballast wedge 2-3 depending on crowd. 10.8mph 3900-4200

My goodness , must be a dinner plate for a prop at that rpm, sure hope the m6 is as economical as they say , do yo really need that much prop, guessing for your wakeboarding friends who ride full ballast and wedge?

Full + 1000lbs lead + people needs it. The m5 is noticeably more efficient than the 409. The a24 with m6 should be here soon

2018 A24 with 410 engine and 2755 prop. We run 750's in rear and 650 up front. We range anywhere from 10.8-11.4mph and I have no idea what the RPM's are, I never look at the tach.

2011 Vride w/GSA, 10.8 to 11.2 paddle wheel depending on rider and style, 1000s full in rear (wont quite get full) plus floating wedge and hard tanks, 300 under seat surf side, crew of 4 and 300 lead in cabin, 650 bag in place of mid tank, 300 to 400 (best guess) in 750 bag under modified bow seat and frame. 200 lead hidden in nose of bow.  2419 prop 3300 to 3700 rpm depending on speed and bow rise, lcr 5.7 motor. 1:1.5 tran. ratio. 3000 ft asl.

2019, 23 LSV, M5, 2773 re cupped from .105 to .150, full MLS, 750 bow, 570s max in lockers running 3750-3800 rpm, GPS @ 11.2mph and 3700rpm @ 10.8mph with max wedge. Going to drop some locker weight this year and play with the wedge to see if I can retain the wave and drop some rpm.

Any luck with your adjustments? I'm driving a l 2018 22 VLX, and would love to ditch the PNP bags by using more wedge if possible. I simply don't love having the bags in the lockers.
