Need help picking next wakeboard for my son...

It's our second season wakeboarding and my 12 year old has out grown his Hyperlite Motive Jr, mostly because the bindings are too small.  We can't change those out, I need to keep that board set up as is for my 9 year old, so I need to buy a new board. Since we are pretty new to the sport, I don't know much about boards and need some advice. I was looking at the Hyperlite State Jr and Franchise Jr but I am open to any suggestions you all may have.  I would say he is an intermediate rider, he is starting to jump higher and wants to start learning tricks. He is 4'8" and 76 pounds. Thanks as always for your help!

Of the two mentioned, I would lean towards the Franchise.  Really personal preference, but I’ve never been a big fan of the asymmetrical shapes.  Only rode one once though, YMMV.  Liquid Force offers the Trip in a 130 too.  Worth a look, I’ve had great luck with that shape and developing riders.
