Is my Axis a lemon?

So I’m looking to buy a 2015 axis a22 that my buddy has. It is having the same issues with the crack and vdrive. I can fix the cracks myself because I know how to paint but should I just fix the cracks or do I need to replace the whole haul. And how much would that cost plus replacing the vdrive. It was manufactured in October 2014. I just really want to know what issues to expect on it and how much it’ll cost to repair them

upload a picture of the cracks if you can, I know there was a few issues with new hull design on the 2015's. I recently bought a 15 A-22 as well . How many hours on it before it locked up

Cant just patch them. They are structural and related to the stringers actually coming off of the inside of the hull. When we had one here Malibu replaced the hull completely.

After reading through this thread, if you want to stay "buddys with your buddy", I think I would pass on this potential huge headache!
