seems like I get better push the steeper the wave.  I wonder if you moved your bow ballasts to the mid area that might help to set you up taller and get a little more push.  good luck!

300 or so in the ski locker. 300 or so under the cabin seats. Put the wave shaper as far back on the hull as possible and 100% below water line while underway. If you're still using a 537 prop you might want to change to 1235.

That would be a great wakeboard setup ;)

As @Brad B stated, I would add additional weight in your mid cabin.

My 2000 sunsetter lx:

1000 rear, 800 on each side of dog house, 400 ski locker, 1000 in bow.... ghetto gate... great wave!

Is it the LXi with the stepped hull? If so, I tried for 3 years and gave up cuz the swim platform would need to be significantly cut back because of the stepped transom design and I wasn’t willing to do that.

the GSA guys said they would mount one with a guarantee that included repair of any hull work, but I couldn’t justify the expense so I never tried it.
