Dog Help!

ok this is a ridiculous question, but desperate times...

our dog enjoys being on the boat and is relatively well behaved.   but he can't get himself out of the water and on to the swim deck.  does anyone have a recommendation for an easy dog swim ladder type thing?

Good idea^^

Mine went in to help a dog that jumped off a broken down pontoon with the leash tied at just the right length to choke it...

Dog balance works in such a way that if they have their front paws up on something you can support the back of their head with gentle forward pressure and they can usually get up/on the platform. As long as it's a healthy/athletic dog.

^^^This is what we do. It's easier than lifting our 70lb dog back onto the platform even if she is wearing her life jacket with handle. But then again someone has to be on the back platform when she is out swimming around.

Life jacket with a handle on the back, so a human can give him a helping hand. Added benefit of giving you a little peace of mind.

^^^^^ We have 2 of them.  Dogs like them too.

Yeah the front paws on the deck and push the back of the head works well. They are funny critters, dogs. But those ramp/ladders for the swim platform work pretty good if you can store it.

My boxer could climb ladders. He used to swim out to the swim platform and climb the ladder by himself. Then you had to go get him...
