I saw this the other day and thought good luck selling that thing.  I didn't notice until now the DJ on the front.  Just in case this guy is on this forum I won't say anything else.

I have been on that boat before. The owner is a great guy and works at Boulder Boats. I would never order one like that but it does look pretty cool in person. When he submitted the build the factory called just to double check the colors! 😂

I would NEVER order that color combo, but I got to give it up to him for picking a truly unique and head turning combo.  I’d love to see this boat in person.  I’m sure the fact that he works for Boulder gave him a bit of confidence in ordering an off the wall color, knowing he get a great price and unload it for under market value when the time comes.  

As far as the DJ, I’m sure it was done to drive social media attention, nothing wrong with that. Come on, we’ve all seen some pretty crazy things done on and behind a boat to get views on Instagram.

Color combos are a personal preference.  Who are we to judge?  Looks like he is having a blast.  I've seen DJ's set up on pontoons before but never a ski/wake boat.

What up! This is my boat.

 

First and foremost, I find this post AWESOME! You are all right that this boat is not for everyone.

 

The factory did email us to verify that the colors were correct after the hull was popped. It took me 14 months to design this build and I have images of every iteration along the way. I challenge any of you to design something more wild and pull the trigger on it.

 

A note for the people criticizing the driving: The driver holds a current captain's license, and we had 3 other wake boats nearby to make sure all went smooth. I'm surfing in that shot, which is a still from footage off a DJI Mavic. Yes he was actually playing music. We got bored after a few days without internet so we decided to have some fun. Just happened to work out that it would trigger a bunch of people on the internet.

 

And you know what? I think that having DJ's on the boat is pretty cool. I'm not sure about you all but I think their taste in music is better than my own.

Way to face face the judge jury & executioner on here.   If people learned your passion is more than building boats that look like techno Grave Digger, they would appreciate not only jumping on with booth feet into unique colors, but also jumping both feet into the new M6 powertain.  

FYI, Lucas I had had our boats built 1 day apart last August, both had special request M6 engines & he has triple the hours that I have on my boat...that being said, we’re both stoked with that decision as we have 200+ combined hours on these engines that have cranked out thousands of Smiles Per Hour.  I know you’ve had several conversations & been a great resource on that subject.

@mikeo As mentioned it took me a long time to spec the boat out and then finally get the cajones to click the order button. It is definitely on the loaded side minus the gX tower and SC motor. I was able to get an M6 motor before most even knew about it. The hang tag on my motor specified that it is the #10 M6 motor that was produced. Took delivery in early August 2018 and put 10 break in hours on it, then did a break in service and brought it to Powell for 5 days. It was a bit nerve-racking taking a boat with basically a prototype motor out for that trip so soon after delivery, but it went off without a single issue. The M6 motor is the real deal. To anyone having doubts about upgrading to it, cast them aside and just upgrade the damn thing. Thanks to my homies over at Liquid Lumens I was able to satisfy my RGB fix with some of their RGBW lights with purple housing. They compliment the boat nicely.

 

@Raimie  I am pretty sure that my boat is in the 2019 TMC calendar. I didn't end up getting one, but I think it made the cut.

2016 A22, 409 1.5:1 gear ratio, same big stereo with RGB's

 

2017 23 LSV, 6.2L 410. Factory stereo plus XXX 12" sub

Friendly tidbit of info - Ramie is one the coolest she’s on TMC

I dig the boat.  I wouldn’t buy it, but it does look good.
