1999 Sunsetter bow seat back removal??

Recommended Posts

Yes. It’s a move called the “reach around” move. Remove the seat and reach around up to the 9/16 nuts that are holding the seat backs on. There are likely 4 or so per each back. So 8 or so for that whole piece.

Thanks! Got it. There were three 7/16 nuts on the back and two Philips head screws under the dash.

The whole time I’m reaching around I’m thinking, “Great place for a wasp next or a snake to hang out!”

Anyway, got it out and headed to the upholsterer.
