2006 Power wedge switch

Recommended Posts

I searched and couldn’t find anything (maybe because I’m on my phone), but does anyone have a link to Bakes for the Power Wedge switch? I don’t need the cover I think my switch’s up position has gone bad (wedge goes down, won’t go up, goes up when I switch the up and down leads, so I think the up side has gone bad). The only one I see on Bakes website doesn’t say if it’s momentary and also include the lights which make me think it’s the continuous ones like the ones that power the ballast:

anybody have any links to the right one? For reference the boat is a 2006 VLX.

Nice reference sheet! In case anybody else is looking, mouser has these in stock: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Carling-Technologies/VLD1S00B-AZC00-000?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtNT9UGfLL4eL0zy9VYU0Rs2dBajK5rOCE%3D

Part number VLD1S00B-AZC00-000 (Note this will come with just a basic black switch cover, you would need to buy the power wedge cover off of Bakes if you want a new one: https://www.bakesonline.com/switch-cover-only-power-wedge.html )

For reference I was actually able to get mine working. I took apart the switch looking for the part number, the actual little contactor was stuck on the ground side on the down one. Took it apart and cleaned it (looked corroded) and it is functioning now!
