08 Issue stalling at idle, missing under acceleration

Recommended Posts

The boat started acting funky last week on the lake.  When the throttle was released, it dropped super low on the rpms, enough to read almost 0 on PSI.  Then it shuts off.  Under acceleration, it has an electrical miss.  Got a "Service needed" on the display.

What I've done thus far:

Checked the fuel PSI - 60psi idle.
Changed the cap.
Changed the spark pluge
On the two rear O2 Sensors I've cut them and put a 470 ohm connection as per the videos I've seen.
I clean the Mass Air flow valve.  Motor cuts out when I remove it.

Some of the fault codes I've got

O2 sensor codes
low oil psi code: comes when engine stalls out
balancer sensor
over / under voltage

Last think I will try before sucking it up and sending it to the dealer.  I'm hesitant because when I use a fake a lake, no warning pop up and it acts normal.  You have to be at the lake for the boat to really malfunction.  Anyway, I'm going to change the alternator.  I put a high-voltage unit in last year.  It may be shorting or acting weird.  I've felt like the batteries aren't charging like they are suppose to.  I thought my batteries were junk but I had them tested at a battery shop.  The guy said they were good.

Check the fuel pressure at wide open throttle.  It should always keep the same pressure.

An injected motor with a fuel miss can seem a lot like it has a spark miss.

Well, I give up.

I changed the batteries.  Disconnected the trans sensor and oil sending sensor.  The boat has a miss and oil pressure isn't stable.  It wants to stall off the throttle which dumps the oil psi even more.  I'm taking it in to Boulder boats.  Hopefully they can figure it out quick
