Fulton XLT winch failure

Its a shame you had to replace it yourself. When I talked to Fulton directly about my failed, 2 month old winch, the guy acted like I was trying to drag the boat up the boat ramp with it. 2 bad Fulton won't stand behind their products!

I hear you. You probably used yours more than I did! I’m a once in, once out, plus vacations trailer user. I debated this but unfortunately it happened right before I was leaving for a 750 mile round trip tow. I didn’t have time to mess around with warranty or Fulton. I already whined about having to pay for expedited shipping. Was worth it, family had a great time on our trip. Just had to bring more tools than normal.

I installed a replacement winch on mine and mounted with the two bolt holes on the bottom instead of the single middle bolt on the bottom. Drilled the trailer out for it. Hopefully this fixes it.

Mine wont bend again. Has 6 mount bolts. Only 2 original through trailer though. Other 4 are Countersunk flat heads through bow step mount plate from back to front.

Where do you park your trailer at ? 😁 I am going to do an internal backing plate on mine this winter.
