Replacement gauges. Where to find.

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a sources for o e of the smaller stepper motor type guages as fitted to the 2008 models. My fuel gauge stopped working. I bought and fitted a new stepper motor but it didn't fix it. I've currently swapped it with the wedge gauge and changes the face so I have a working fuel and a dead wedge gauge. Would like to have both working really. Apart from the face it would appear the guts are all the same on these type individual medallion gauges(fuel, temp, wedge). Anyone know of a cheap supply as would like to get one shipped to UK. Cheers.

It is probably this: https://www.amazon.com/Partsam-Instrument-Chevrolet-Silverado-Tahoe-7pcs/dp/B00KW1ZEMG  But you really won't know until you look at the stamping on the (of course) side soldered down.

Thanks for that. I have already bought and installed the correct new stepper motor. It was actually a 569 variant that has a slightly shorter shaft than the usual 589 you see on eBay etc. It still does not work so have to assume something on the main board is dead. I ran a soldering iron back over the main components but still no joy. Thought it time to buy another gauge now. Thanks for the the help.

Just ordered one. It's oil pressure but easy to whip off the needle and swap the face. Reckon i could take the guts out of a mastercraft gauge as well if needed. Suspect the are all the same internally.

Call around to some of the big dealers. You may be surprised at what they have in stock. Water Ski America, Saskatoon Water Sports, Tommy's, Minnesota Inboard.
