2013 Axis A22 code reader

Crew, can anyone tell me if there is a special marine code reader for an Axis? I got a “service required” message on my cluster along with a red engine light that I want to diagnose.

Also, where is the port to plug it in?

Hey, you should be able to access the codes from the dash.  Push in the 2 display selection buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.  It should beep and let you into settings.  There is a code reader within there.

The codes in the dashboard are too cryptic to be useful. You also can’t clear them from there.

You really need Rinda Diacom to read and reset the codes. It’s $600 though.

I think they're cryptic, but with a google you can often find of what they mean.  That is true you can't clear them from there though.
