Malibu badging crooked

Weaklink

Recommended Posts

This is going to sound crazy but after more than a year of owning my boat (‘17 21 vlx) I was looking at it on the ramp and I noticed that the starboard side MALIBU badging is slanting downward in relation to the rub rail. The port side MALIBU is straight relative to the rub rail.

very possible it is crooked if it was slapped on quick at the MFG during birth.  Suppose if it bothers you that bad have the dealer remove it and reinstall.  However, you would need new sticky back or adhesive (which the dealer should supply)

It's not crazy.  Took me two years and someone else pointing it out that the S in Wakesetter on the port side is about 1/4" lower than the rest of the word and tilted a tad.  I just shrugged and went back to surfing.

LOL...years ago we were on a ski trip to WVA...saw some cows grazing on a hillside.  I told some kids in the car to look at the cows...I said they have shorter legs on the uphill side so they can stand level...it's how they have evolved.  They were like oh...cool!
