AUX plug-in issue

Crew,

I'm having some issue with my aux connection on the boat and I am not a stereo expert...

It's a 2010 wakesetter vlx with a JBL Black Box, Rockford speakers, amps, sub. The black box connects to multiple things like the stereo head unit, aux, USB, etc. I mainly use the aux to play music from my iphone because the radio static sucks. I was out on the lake memorial weekend and on the last day the aux just quit working and would not play music (this was after a few rain showers passed....). Long story short, i ended up replacing the aux cord with a new one that runs directly from the black box to my phone and it worked fine. I went out on the lake again and after an hour it quit working again... No clue what's going on. Not sure if I need to buy a new black box or what. Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated!!

Is it plugged into the aux port in the glove box? That head plug in went south on my 2010 after about 3 year of ownership. I plugged directly into the RFX-3000 (BB) after that with out an issue. All of my stereo issues started and ended at the BB. Vibration and poor workmanship were a constant issue with it until I cleaned up the wires and plug ins on the back side of the amp board.

Wdr, I removed the connection from the BB to glove box port to separate aux cord in the glove box. I replaced all that with a single RCA to aux cord, now having one cord run directly from my BB to my iPhone. Like I mentioned, it worked for about an hour the next day at the lake but then cut out again... Everything else that is connected to the BB still works as intended. I'm wondering if it's some poor connection between the BB and aux...?
