So we have a 2000 Malibu Escape LSV with the 5.7 indmar and I was wondering how often you should do an oil/fluid change.

IIRC, my manual says every 50 hours, or at least once a season.  Since I never put on 50 hours in a season, I just change oil/filter as part of my winterization routine at the end of the season.  I sometimes will defer to tranny fluid exchange every other season.  YMMV.

Manual says every 50 hours, but like srab said, generally at the end of the season.  Finally got to mine today since last fall and this spring has been terrible and the weather on both ends hasn't cooperated.  Took about an hour and a half including getting everything together, pulling the boat out, warming it up, drinking a beer, etc....
