Look up Fenders. Go no smaller that 8.5" dia or get Big Balls.

Thanks for the info. So used to calling them bumpers.

Whaddya gonna use them for?  Occasional docking?  Tie-up to another boat?  How big (wavy) is your lake, etc.

Mainly docking on a slow lake but still sees some waves. Tie-up to other boats occasionally. Won’t really be docked/tied in really wavy conditions but want to ensure coverage is waves are encounters.

I like the Polyform  fenders. I just purchased a bunch of the G5 fenders (8.5x27) I think. For my 25. I always liked the 6.5 x24 for my 07 21LSV. I had a few different brands and prefer the Polyform.

Mission Sentry's for docking and Babz balls for tying up to other boats.

I thought about those Mission fenders. More expensive, have you had any issues with them and worth the extra money? They don't come lose with small waves, or scuff the finish on the gel coat?

two summers now and no issues, they stay put and don't seem to mark up anything.  they're still in one piece too.

I use Taylor-Made 6x20.  i added an extra set of poppet cleats near the front seat area of the hull (where it is widest) and use one there and one at the back seat when timing to a dock.

I use big snap clips to make it easy to hook on and take off.

We don't really tie up to other boats, except the houseboat, and i have larger ones fixed in place on the HB for that.

Actually just ordered one, currently 10%off and free ship.

Let me know how you like it. That would be perfect for along the dock or the side of the houseboat. Put it out Friday pm and pick it up Sunday. I currently use Babz balls on the dock and 8.5 x24 stay on the houseboat year round. I prefer the Polyform. And I think the 8.5 are the G-5

I use the Taylor Made 8x20 Big B fender with the rope that goes through the center of the fender.  Eight summers and not a single scratch from a dock on the boat.

I can’t believe how many people have spent a ton of money on a beautiful boat and have fenders and dock line that are barely adequate for a 10’ aluminum fishing boat.
