1990 ski centurion

Recommended Posts

How’s it going! I recently bought a 1990 ski centurion tru trac it has a 351 in it. 1st thing is it doesn’t have a raw water filter. Is it a must to add one in? And my second question is if the boat isn’t running and I move the throttle control down should the trans cable be moving as well or does it only move while the boat is running?

No, but depending on your local water conditions it might be worth adding.

Yes, the trans cable should move to the appropriate gear position (FWD vs REV) with engine running or not. You can test this with the throttle lockout button.
