Sensitivity of surf band volume control

Recommended Posts

Anyone else try to use the surf band for volume control? Seems like you have to click it 100 times volume up to get it to max volume.

There's no forward and backward song button either is there?

Mine is awful.  I hit it 10 times it does nothing and then it all of a sudden jumps up and blows everyone's ears out.  There is a big delay in response.

i have the same problem with the wedge on it.

I don’t have stereo controls but mine works great for wedge and speed. No delay.

The stereo reaction on it is slow as mud, just like the radio. The wedge and the speed on the other hand can get things out of control real quick. A click feel when pushed would probably help for confirmation but wouldn’t be worth the cost to the bottom line. Once we got the boat dialed in it turned into a “ooh you got the surf band” gadget that stays in the glove box unless we want to switch sides. Still working on that skillset. 😁
