Depth gauge ?

Recommended Posts

Can’t seem to get a picture to upload. So I will describe the part in question. It has 1 black wire going to it, says Airmar on top with numbers and lines starting at 2 all the way up to 22 and is not flat. It has about a 10 degree angle cut that is parallel with the top.  It sits on the hull for sure just did not know if there was a particular orientation to reattaching it. Does it use the angle for the top to be semi level ? Please let me know what it is and how to orient. Thanks in advance.

I can’t help you with the depth finder question. Although the uploading of pictures can be solved by becoming a supporting member. It allows you to upload pictures straight from your phone and computer plus unlocking quite a few discount codes to various websites.

You want it to be as level as possible with the boat floating. The sensor should be parallel to the water surface.

Yes, the link provided was the correct depth gauge. Thanks for letting me know the correct mounting also. These forums are great for info. Thanks to all.
