Long line 15/22 off at 32MPH slalom wake comparison LX/LXi vs Sport/Air Nautique

Considering purchasing either an LX or LXi (98 to 2007  on both) looking for a great slalom wake at 15/22 off at 32 MPH in an open bow for versatility and family.  I can't find any for sale or test ski, in my area but have skied behind a 2000 Sport Nautique and a 2000 Ski Nautique.  Any comparisons, especially to the Sport as it is also open bow.  Appreciate the input!  Considering purchasing a boat long distance but want to understand what to expect before I make the 10+ hour trip.

Posted this in your other thread too.  If you're looking open bow in that vintage, you can't beat the wake of a '03-'06 Response LXi.  Response LX is nearly identical wake but since you said you want an open bow, I suspect you'll actually use it.  Response LX step-over is a bit of a pain, though it does give you a nice wide observer seat.

Sport Nautique wake isn't as good as the Malibu wake.  The Ski Nautique from those years (closed bow) is every bit as good and probably slightly better at 15 off than any Malibu.
