New GPS Speedo

I'm replacing my left speedo with GPS.
1. What should I use to cap off the pitot tube?

2. Which pickup would it be installed to? I'm thinking port speedo, port pickup?

I didn't think you could convert to allow one pitot to function and the other to be replaced with GPS.  The Nautic Laugic setup I have simply replaces both and interfaces directly to the gauge.

I removed my Pitots and replaced them with underwater lights.

in a 1993 Euro F3 you can.  That's pre-MDC.  Uses Airguide dual speedos.
