I remember reading something or speaking with somewhat knew of a vendor that would allow you to pay a fee and they would send you a prop to try before you buy. Cant remember if it was fuzion or a website or what?

Does anyone know?

OJ Propellers will send you props to try out.  If you don't like it, just send it back.  Shipping is like $30 or so as I recall.  I tried out a few before settling on one.

I think that might have been Wakemakers.com

I think With them you pay a fee greater than shipping for each swap so that you can keep swapping and I think that’s plus your return shipping

ACME will do the same, last time that I checked.  Just don't ding it and don't send it back all oxidized.

Nope. I tried last year. They said to go talk to the local Dallas Fort Worth dealer. Maybe they had a loaner they’d let me try. I called. There were loaners sometimes. But not one of the prop I wanted to try. 2277.

OJ is wayyyyy better at this exercise. I’ve done about 5 props with them after getting my ‘16 while I dialed in the right one.

I’ve never tried Wakemakers’ program. It’s a good choice I think if you also want to try some Acme props and are in a hard to satisfy situation without any good reference points from the forum community.
