Resistance Knob on Drivers Seat 2007 23LSV

Recommended Posts

What's Up Crew???

I have my 2007 23LSV in my garage for some maintenance and clean up.  One item I"m trying to "repair" is the swivel resistance on the drivers seat.  I can loosen and tighten the knob with no impact on the resistance of the seat swivel action.

I took the seat about and looks like the cable from the resistance knob routes to INTERNAL portions of the seat back.  I am clueless on how this would affect the swiveling action of the seat on its base.

Does anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks for any guidance and knowledge you can share.

Cheers,

Scott

Thanks WDR.  That's exactly what it is!!

I could have sworn it changed the swivel resistance when I turned the knob in the past.  The label "resistance" on the knob is certainly misleading.  Maybe "Lumbar" would have been a better choice for the label.
