Attaching PTM Edge 140 to Samson tower bracket?

I recently purchased both a PTM Edge 140 and a Samson tower arm for the Illusion XS tower ... they connect but I can’t tighten down the link completely ... its off by perhaps 1/8”... I can shave some of the black plastic off and that may make it work ...

I am wondering before I do that if there is another piece I am missing ....?

Did your mirror come with a half “moon” shaped piece that will fit over the round part of the mirror and the cradle the tower arm? If not, contact PTM for that piece.

I think the piece he needs should have come with the samson arm.  I contacted Samson this week and ordered the piece you are referring to for the G3 mount and I think they should have something similar for Illusion.  Here is an illustration I pulled from PTM to explain what I needed and it went out the door the same day.

I think you are right, I couldn’t remember if that piece came with the tower arm or mirror.

Thank you both. It’s supposed to have come with the arm. I think one is in the mail to me this week from Samson. I will update this thread once I see it
