Extreme Trailer Data Plate HELP- Response LXi

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to get the Extreme trailer my LXi sits on registered in PA.  They are giving me some crap because the data on the data plate has faded off.   Can anyone with a mid 2000s Response LXi / Extreme trailer (dual axle) tell me what the weight information is?   I have my VIN number and such, I just need the rest of the generic data that would be the same for the same type trailer.

What a PITA!

Not sure on the Extreme trailer but the Boatmate website lists the trailer data you would need.  Probably close.

No such information on the extreme custom trailer website.

Do you have the serial/vin number? The manufacturer can give you all of the weights etc based on that info.

But, its pretty safe to guess on weights based on the axles, at least in Texas.

Doesn't the previous title have all that information?  Not understanding why anyone would be looking at a trailer sticker on a 16 year old trailer.

Does the title usually have that information?  I am not sure.

I have found is that it depends on which auto tag place you go to in PA.  I had a hard time getting my out of state trailer titled and registered when I went to a place that specializes in auto tags because they needed to physically verify the VIN and GVWR on the trailer placard.  Then I went to a local insurance place that does auto tags on the side, and they filled out the paperwork with no questions asked.  I just verbally told them the GVWR info.
