opera browser issue

Starting yesterday afternoon, about the time the site went down, but still continuing as of now, when opening the site with Opera (whether windows or osx), the browser initiates a download dialogue of index.php rather than opening the page.  

Chrome will open the page (what I'm typing this post on).
