2015 23 LSV **looking for tips prior to buying**

Our last boat was 2010 23 LSV...   now we are looking at a 2015 23 LSV and curious what quirks this year has that should be given attention prior to purchase.

2015 had a three year warranty, so it's likely out of warranty at this point. 

IIRC 2016 was the first year of the five year warranty.

I can’t recall any known quirks persay in the 2015. Maybe stripped threads in the knobs of the G3 tower.  I can’t recall if 2015 or 2016 was first year for the slightly better G3.2 tower design.  

 

And yes, 2016 was first year of 5 year warranties and the Ford power plant and new tranny ratio.

And the first year of the new screens. Seems there was some screen blinking issues. Lots of screens were replaced according to the Malibu rep. 

But not much else that I recall.

Good info!   

According to maint records, This boat had the dash blinking issue few yrs ago when hitting waves.   Tech stated found power button was faulty and replaced .   No other issues reported.
