V-drive oil SAE30

Going to replace the v-drive oil using a suction device.  Indmar manual says 'SAE30' but not SAE 5W30 or anything else.  There is SAE30 for heavy duty machines, lawn mowers...

what do I buy?

I imagine you have the Hurth VD, so straight 30W non detergent @ 1qt.

Actually, it's the Walters v-drive.  I know the SAE0 non-detergent stuff you are talking about.

Sorry, meant Walter. I had it in my '06, nearly bullet proof VD.

Pretty much any auto parts store will have it. I had a Walters in my Centurion that used it.

Random Example: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Pennzoil-1-Qt-SAE-30-Conventional-Motor-Oil-550034991/206344313

Thanks, I think up here in Canada its sold differently because I was at a big box store yesterday and they don't carry that exact stuff.

If you find that you are leaking VD oil, go straight to the sump pan plate under the VD and feel around. The 4 screw in stud and nut combo have a history of backing out and weeping/leaking oil.
