Parkit360 electric trailer dolly

Hi All,

Has anyone used one of these electric trailer dollies?

https://parkit360.ca/products/electric-trailer-dolly-base-version?variant=41398270096  or something similar.

I'll be storing a 04 23LSV in my garage (triple car) and it'll be a bit of a tight squeeze (part of the wife's condition to buying the boat was "had to be stored at home" :) ) and i thought this would help negotiate some of the pinch points !!!!

The drive way has a slight rise so a manual dolly would be questionable, if not outright dangerous!!!

Please let me know your thoughts.

My bad 😳

That park it 360 on a flat is definitely the way to go but the price seriously reflects that ability , it even disengages your brakes I think like your truck does in reverse fir pushing it

i can’t afford that snd I can do it manually with the Fulton jack wheel by turning the wheel and pushing boat or pulling trailer  to turn it

if you can afford it buy it if you have turns you need to do with boat in tight spots that make it difficult if not impossible with Truck in the driveway

I really like mine...pretty much had to have it to get boat in my garage since driveway doesn't allow me the ability to back it in with my truck.  It's not as simple as it looks on the videos but it works.  It takes a little time to set up the ball/adapter assembly to the trailer and for me to maneuver the boat where i need it.  Probably an extra 15 minutes or so on both ends of my boating day, maybe a tad longer.   Only dislikes for me are : battery driven so requires the extra battery/charging , loud....electric winch type motor is pretty loud,  doesn't like real tiight turns...kinda half to move it back and forth a little while turning to negotiate tighter turns.  (probably not helped by my double axle trailer)  Other than that and of course the cost, it works like it is supposed to and I am satisfied with the purchase.

For any of those needing a dolly, would mounting a hitch on the front of your tow vehicle help at all?  That's what my Dad did years ago for a driveway issue we had.  Worked like a charm.

Yes, every once in a while someone here will chime in about doing just that.

I think I’m going to go with the Trax TX6000, I like that it has a third wheel for maneuverability in tight places and it uses a 36V battery setup.  Both are priced in the same neighborhood so that wasn’t a deciding factor.

Definitely considered it but I just didn't have the room to maneuver.

I just mounted a harbor freight 120V winch to the floor in the back of my garage and made a 40' long cord for the remote. My driveway and garage wont allow the proper angle to back it in.  I just get close, hook up the winch, unhook from the truck, and winch it in.  Faster than a boat lift.

just curious... how do you get it out of the garage?

Garage has a slight slope and driveway has a bigger slope.  I just put the winch in reverse and pull the boat by hand. Rolls really easy. I also only have a response lxi so smaller than a lot of boats on here. Once I clear the garage I can turn it and hook it up to the truck

I have had one for years.  For the heavy boats it will do the job.  Mine will turn a boat on its axis even on the tandem trailer.  However,  you do have to put some effort into it yourself.  Especially if going uphill.  Sometimes you need to use a clamp to prevent suge brakes off.  Be careful when going downhill as a sharp turn with a longer trailer tongue can cause the unit to tip.  Just boock the wheels and re position the dolly.  I love mine though.
