Gator Step Front Deck Kit

Hey TMC,

We want to add the full front deck kit from Gator Step on our 2019 20 VTX. I have a few questions to anyone that has a 2016-2019 VTX, 2015-2018 22 VLX, and I believe 2014-2017 23 LSV. As you can see in the picture 1 below, we already have the bow kit. I think the boats and years I just listed all have the same type of vents in front of the windshield and I assume the same/similar placement of the Zero Off puck. GS offers two front deck kits and I think I want to go with the 2016-2018 kit because it will fill the circled area in picture 2. Has anyone added the front deck kit for any of our boats? What did you do with the ZO puck? It isn't that I wouldn't like the 2019 kit, I just think I would like the 16-18 kit better.

So one potential hurdle is avoided. I stopped by the boat this morning to look at the underside of the ZO puck and there is a quick disconnect right at the puck. So that makes it easy. It appears it is just stuck on the hull, no screws or anything. Anyone have any advice on how to get it to stick to the GS?

Alrighty, just Incase anyone else has this question I am going to follow the method in this post. I’ll follow up with results when it finally stops being winter here..
