Why did malibu get rid of g4 tower for 2019s

Curious, are they using actual foam or paper gaskets?  Seems like a tube of Permatex would be the best fix if the issue is the various pieces of the tower and covers rubbing on each other.

not sure.  i suspect paper given the tight space and desire to have less give/flex, but you're right, if they could bathe the whole thing in permatex, it wouldn't make a peep.
