FAE installation

I have a 2017 Axis T22 with the floating wedge. I want to get the FAE and wanted to know if anyone has installed the pipe themselves? The dealer wants over $800 for the pipe and $1300 to install it. I would rather save the money and do it myself as long as I don't mess with my boat warranty. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. I live in Fort Worth, TX and my dealer is Waterski America.

Just had Waterski America install the factory pipe on my 18 MLX. I had the option to go with the Axis pipe for $1300 installed or Malibu for $1600. The Malibu pipe has a polished finished that is the only difference.   Call them back and verify the price, the $1300 should be pipe and installation.  The factory pipe looks better then the FAE version, but who sees it anyway.

FAE is super easy to install. It took me a couple of hours at first, but once I knew what I was doing, it was easy.
