gatorstep, seadek, or xactcustoms for swim platform?

Recommended Posts

I went to the Milwaukee Boat show and ran into a couple of vendors regarding flooring....any experience with the named companies and their flooring options for replacing the pad on my 2006 Rlxi?  I am leaning towards the xactcustoms, as their product was thicker (6mm vs 3-5 mm) and a little cheaper than Seadek and gatorstep...

Just looking for opinions or experience...

Thanks.

I put gatorstep along my gunnels and 214 hours later, it still looks new.

seadek and gatorstep are offered with different thickness options as well.

IIRC- seadek offers 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm, in single colors. And they offer 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm, in dual color. Pretty sure they also now offer a 6mm and a 9mm in 3 color.

i have 8mm seadek in my boat and love that thickness.

I think gatorstep offers 3mm, 6mm, and 8mm, but not 100% sure.

both seadek and gatorstep have proven product that is excellent quality. I have never heard of that other company...
