NDA, can't.

My guy said the new M240 is incredible and of coarse the best wave he has ever seen.

I have heard (from a Malibu lead mechanic) there is a new rudder on the 25'. Someone had it from the factory and said it made a major difference. I don't remember reading anything on here about a different rudder as we all know maneuverability on a fully loaded 25 is difficult.

Have not asked my salesperson.

It just takes more throttle. I have learned with the 17” prop I can pull the back of the boat sideways quite a bit. But it takes a quick burst of big throttle. And if tide and wind are strong it still doesn’t work.

The giant rudders on the X22, Star and X24 make low and high speed handling much better. I think a larger rudder on a BU would help counter the PW III.

SIAP but looks like Malibu finally moved the underwater LEDs? Unless they did  before 2020 and never noticed. Could not understand mounting them behind the stowed wedge/surfpipe.

There is no OE vendor for Axis or Malibu flooring now. They are cutting them in house. At least that is what i heard?

That would make sense to me.  The raw material is dirt cheap and once you set up the CNC you roll them out like cookies.

Exactly... if Malibu can make their own power tower and engines, making foam flooring is no sweat.

Outsourcing made sense when it was only a subset of Malibu/Axis (is rare option). But now virtually every boat is ordered with this option, and I bet they use it liberally in Cobalt and Pursuit boats also.
