18 LSV transom remote?

Can someone post a pic of the 18 transom remote as I'm trying to verify the right one.

I'd go and dig around on www.prospecelectronics.com and see what you can find.  Pretty sure that you can find some remote and some harnesses that might work

the amazon one linked looks a little different than the link you posted from amazon. What head unit are these boats running? Once you find that out it should be easy to just find a compatible one.

The one I have in stock here says REM70 and looks like the one in your link.

I was told that the head units were built by Medallion. But that doesnt appear to be the case for the remote.

Back exploring my options. You guessing either of these will work. The Infinity looks much nicer than the Milennia in my opinion. If I do it, plan is to mount in left rear corner as the factory center mounted position looks like it would get bumped often there.

Thoughts?

Branded as Medallian but uses the Milennia MIL-REM70 Remote. Is the box made by Them too?

On front of the black box. This is the plug that will have to plug in to it. Anyone have a pic of the receiving plug on the box?

Got it done, about $135 total. Bought cable from dealer $55 and remote from e-bay $70ish.

I also thought about just buying the cord from amazon but was not Sure the Medallion black box was the same connection. I think it is but failed to confirm that before I tucked it all in. I bought mine from my dealer $50.

I’m just impatient and my dealer has been limited hours and also said Malibu was closed. I’m going to try and get something going.  I’ll add to the post if successful. Thanks

FYI it requires punching another big hole in your boat. 1 1/4" for the center boss that sticks out the back of remote and 2 screw holes.

I noticed that.  So I am going to go with a different remote in hopes it works.  I will update you guys shortly.  Parts are on order.  Boat storage has funky hours because of corona so it might take longer then expected to get back to you guys. Thanks for getting my mind turning on this

It’s an infinity remote with wat seems to be the same connectors. Maybe the signal it delivers won’t work. But I can’t see it not working. I’ve wired up some remotes for my trucks before

My cord came today.  The JBL-REX20-6 is actually a black cable With the clear outside and blue innards.  I remember I had asked you about a cord on that Hodges marine website.  I’m pulling the boat from storage tomorow. Remote should be here in a couple days.

dalt. On the rem70 does it give you rubber caps for the screw holes??

Rem 70 is about half what you paid anyway, send yours back.

So I talked to prospec.  There are three compatible remotes. One has a huge display. It measures something like 4 by 7 inches. The other two are the REM70 and Rem50.  

 

I went with the rem50. It’s great. It came with a 20 foot cord too. When it’s playing Bluetooth it won’t allow skipping of songs, not super happy about that but I really wanted the remote for volume control mainly 

 

  I found someone selling it for like 60 bux

Sounds and looks like the 70 wonder what the difference is? Got to use mine this weekend. Mute, volume and sub on/off, treble, bass, sourcr adjustments all available but as mentioned no skipping.

FWIW, the remote that comes from the factory on our 2020, does skip tracks on bluetooth.  I think it is the same sound system as the 2018.
