Manual wadge patent

Is anybody having the size for the manual wedge? how big the blade is and how far down it goes? I have all the materials to make one by my own but I don't know the size. I only found the patent for the floating wedge but I heard is not the same. The floating wedge has an angle and the blade is different size. If anybody haves a manual wedge that can measure me the size that would be really awesome. I already have the base for the manual wedge connected on the boat about the wedge was missing stolen.  Thanks in advance !

Thanks for the information. I just find it pointless to buy one when I can make one by my own. I have all the material lying in the garage I need to use it.

You definitely want the floating wedge if you're going to fabricate one.

Floating is far superior to the standard wedge.  If you're fabricating your own you could probably just adapt the design to fit onto the standard base.

Might need to grind away some of the existing wedge bracket to get full travel, but agree, there's probably a way to make it work.

If you haven't already seen it, this thread is from a Crew member who made a floating wedge.  Might be some information you can apply to your situation.
