Has anybody tried this new hull out for surfing yet? Any thoughts on how it compares to the 23?

Pretty darn close to the 23.  New design is a definite improvement, just like the 23 was

I have about 50 hours and counting on mine....boat does everything VERY well.  It's very similar to the new 23LSV in all aspects.  No complaints on the wave with PW3 and factory ballast with PNP.

My hope is, that it is at least as good as my 15. My kids are gone now, only 3 of us go surfing. Don’t have the 12 people party going on anymore. Just want a good surf wave, and don’t wanna go backwards.

It is and you won’t be.  Best part is no more extra bow weight needed.

we have an 18 22vlx which is very close to the 22 lsv and the surf wave is awesome. We put 150lbs of lead under the bow and have the 2 400 PNP in the rear and its killer. absolutely love every aspect of the boat. favorite setting is all ballast full, speed around 10.5 and wedge 2-3 clicks from stow.
